I am a college-aged student who is studying and majoring in early childhood education at Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH. I am home for the summer and looking for opportunities to care for young to teen-aged children. In my two years of post-secondary schooling, I have spent 30+ hours in a preschool classroom, 40+ hours in a second-grade classroom, 30+ hours in a middle school tutoring program, and volunteered for a semester in an after-school program for K-6 students in an underprivileged neighborhood. I am excited to get to spend more time caring for children as well as gaining experience that is useful for my career. I am able to formulate and complete developmentally appropriate tasks for each age group that not only enriches a child's learning, but also engages them in a way that they enjoy.
