Hello moms, dads, and other caregivers! My name is Nadia Madrid and I am a twenty-seven year old college graduate with childcare experience. I have been sitting for children on and off since I was ten years old. I guess you can say I’m a pro-diaper changer, as many of my jobs have begun with newborns. My own cousins were some of my first sitting jobs, but I later found work watching my parent’s friend’s/co-worker’s children. I currently am between jobs and was hoping to find something more purposeful to do with my time. Taking care of children has always been something fun and enjoyable for me. I was always a child that needed to be entertained, whether that would be going outside to ride my bike, draw with chalk, playing a board game, working on a puzzle or watching one of my favorite Disney movies. I still ride my bike, work on crafts, enjoy the new adult coloring books, and watch a good Disney movie when I get the chance. With that said I try to be a good sitter by caring for your child the way you would, but I try to be a great sitter by understanding I’m also a playmate and a friend to your child.
