Hello! I am a mom of 2 beautiful girls and a former teacher. I plan on going back to work next school year, when my youngest is in kindergarten. My first teaching job was preschool at Evansville Day School, followed by teaching 3rd-5th while at Corpus Christi (in the same classroom where my mom once taught.) I've had numerous background checks, CPR certifications, emergency trainings, etc while in the teaching profession, however I have been a stay-at-home mom for several years and that has all lapsed! If this is required for you, I'd be happy to discuss this. I started working with children when I was a child myself!! In middle school, I was the neighborhood babysitter! During college, I also worked as a daycare aide at Tekoppel Elementary. I am looking for very part-time work. We have a small horse farm, which takes up a good deal of my Read more time. Ideally, I would love a very small, steady job (1 or 2 days) and to work occasional nights while you have a date night! While watching your children, I am happy to send you pictures of what we are up to. If the job is during the day, my 4 yr old would be with me for most of the day. (She goes to preschool a few hours and still takes a nap.) I charge $10- $20 per hour. Rates would depend on the amount of driving, supplies, number of children, and if the child(ren) is asleep, my rate goes down.
