Hello! My name is Josie and I am so excited to meet you and your family! Summer is just around the corner and I am looking to make so many fun memories with your kids. One of my favorite memories as a kid was my summer babysitter and the fun activities we would do everyday. Kids have a soft spot in my heart and reassurance as a parent that your child is safe and happy is so important. I am currently working on an associates degree for criminal justice but will hopefully be switching to early childhood education this fall. My previous coworkers would describe me as a fun, outgoing, strong headed hard worker and I believe that fits me perfectly! I love fast pace environments so children keeping me on my toes will be no issue. I have a very, VERY flexible schedule. I personally do not have any Read more of the normal “responsibilities” that would prevent me from being able to show up within 1-2 hours. Staying busy is a must for me, so the more you call the happier I will be! I drive a ford explorer so there is plenty of room to take kids to and from either the park, zoo or a grocery store. Most of my experience is with working with pets, so it will be no issue if they need taken care of as well. I have been dogsitting for 7 years now with 17 regular clients and I am still accepting new ones as well. My experience with children is limited but does include working as a JS at the well established Camp Lutherhaven and that taught me so much about how to properly talk to kids and make them feel comfortable. But more importantly, how to have fun! Otherwise just general experience with younger children within my family ranging from infant-10 years old. One of my favorite things that my dog-sitting clients tell me is how happy they are when they return home. I take a lot of pride in making sure things are cleaner and neater than how they were left. This goes for general & deep cleaning and I am more then happy to help while around.
