I greatly enjoy children and their love for life. It's inspiring! I have been caring for children on a regular basis, babysitting and being a nanny since I was 12 years old. At that time, I cared for a 6-month-old and 2-year-old, a few days/nights a week for 4 years. It was an awesome experience. I have also cared for newborns with heart problems, breathing and stomach issues, and hernias, along with multiples, twins and triplets. I like to try to get children to explore their world at every age, and learn how to find their own creativity and independence. I find it empowering to them when they find that balance. I am a believer in accountability and discipline, no matter what that may specifically mean to you, and strive to keep consistency with that approach. My CPR/First Aid certifications are valid and up to date.
