I am currently a high school teacher with WCPSS and have been so since 2016. However, I became a caregiver because I am passionate about children and their families. Being a caregiver is about simultaneously ensuring that children have fun and are safe. My goal is to give children the best experience possible, and still meet all of the needs of the family by caring for the children and their home. I spent the summers of 2012-2013 as a middle school overnight camp counselor at SpringHill Camps, and the summer of 2014 as the Administrator at SpringHill Camps Day Camps Chicago 2 team. During this time I led countless bonding activities, braided more hair than can be imagined, and gave hundreds of hugs and hand squeezes. I learned how to engage children and students to help make them excited about any activity from cleaning to swimming. During the summers of Read more 2015-2016, I spent 23+ hours a week caring for a three little ones all under the age of six. Many afternoons were spent playing in the park and shooting water guns in the backyard. I have been babysitting for the past 15 years and have cared for children from the ages of 3 months old to 18 years old. Although my days are currently filled with the faces of teens at school, I love getting to spend time with infants, toddlers, and elementary aged children
