Hello, My name is Shivani Patel, and I am 21 years old. I have grown up in the Indianapolis area, so I am very comfortable with driving around children to various activities. In high school I would babysit for various families who had multiple children. I would also help with laundry and other small tasks around the home. I am comfortable with pets, though I am allergic to cats. I just graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Speech Language Pathology. I worked as a lifeguard in college, so i am CPR and AED certified. I also have been trained in blood borne illness. I grew up playing sports, so I understand the need for physical activity with children. I have little brothers and sisters, so I understand the need to keep them busy with games and toys, while also adding an educational element. I would consider myself a flexible person, so I understand that schedules change, and sometimes you just have to go with the flow. I also know how to cook decently well.
