i WORKED AT A KID'S PLACE IN HUNTINGBURG WITH CHILDREN AGES 4 TO 12. WE WERE ALL IN THE SAME ROOM TOGETHER SO I HAD TO BE VERY CREATIVE ON ACTIVITIES TO KEEP ALL KIDS CONTENT. I CREATED A SUMMER PROGRAM THAT INCLUDED GOING ON FIELD TRIPS TO A HORSE RANCH, JASPER NATIONAL GUARD - THE KIDS LEARNED TO SALUTE, MARCH AND WE ALL RODE IN A HUM V. WE HAD SPECIAL GUESTS COME AND SPEAK WITH US - THE ENTIRE DUBOIS COUNTY BOMBERS TEAM CAME AND TAUGHT THE KIDS PROPER BASEBALL PROCEDURES AND WE HAD A BALLOON FIGHT. TO THIS DAY - OVER 10 YEARS SINCE I WORKED THERE, WHEN I SEE ONE OF THE KIDS I TOOK CARE OF THEY STILL SMILE AND CALL ME MISS JILL. THEY WERE A LOT OF FUN.
