I'm a 28 year old momma of 2 little boys; I have a 3 year old & a newborn of my own & I'm looking for a way to supplement my husband's income while staying home with the kids. I have always loved children - I started babysitting when I was 10 & played a big part in helping to raise my youngest sister when she was born 2 years later. My mother home schooled all of us & I also helped quite a bit with that so I have experience with teaching/helping with homework from preschool through junior high ages. Our home is clean & smoke free. We do have a dog - Australian Shepherd - but he is confined to the kitchen or garage & does not visit the rest of the house (although he loves children who are comfortable around animals.) I cook & am able to Read more provide meals. Almost everything I keep in the house is all natural/organic, & I am able to cater to special dietary needs. My 3 year old is well behaved, polite & potty trained. I do some home schooling with him & we are starting to learn to read. I have spent the last 4 years teaching private/group music lessons in addition to having helped my mother with homeschooling my youngest sister, so I am comfortable including other children in our counting/adding/reading lessons if that is an interest, or helping older kids with homework if need be. I do not have current certification, but was certified in First Aid/CPR for several years running when I worked as a security officer. I am willing to submit to background check if need be.
