My name is Megan Harmon. I'm 22 years old and am in the Elementary Education Program at Purdue North Central in Westville. I have worked with children for over ten years and been in the child care setting for two years. I currently work at a day care that has strict lesson plans that we have to follow as well as meal preparation. It's important that we have a certain amount of learning time each day for the children's minds to be stimulated through reading, crafts, science, sensory, and basic letters, numbers, colors, and shapes.
