Hello! I am currently a senior at Murray State University. In the past, I have worked with several special needs children as a respite care provider and a volunteer. I also have a younger sister with special needs whom I care for when my parents need assistance. During summer 2014, I took care of a 6-year-old boy with cerebral palsy and his two sisters. I recently became employed through a respite care company to work at home in Evansville during my school breaks. I love working with children and I have learned the importance of patience when it comes to assisting any child. Currently, I am employed as a part time resident associate at Brookdale Senior Living. I am majoring in Speech Language Pathology and plan to get my masters after graduation in May 2016. My plan is to eventually work as an SLP in a hospital or clinical setting.
