Hello there! I'm Ariana and I have a huge soft spot for children and animals. I am currently looking for an occasional position. I have been a babysitter and nanny for nine years off and on. I am the oldest of four children, one of which has Asperger's and ADHD. I also grew up constantly around children at my mom's at home daycare, helping out when I could. I am a certified substitute teacher and paraprofessional having spent most of my time in the preschool. I am currently volunteering in the nursery at my church. (A background check is required to work in the church nursery.) I have a working understanding of a wide variety of special needs physical, mental, and emotional ranging from mild to severe. I know enough ASL to work with children who are nonverbal, and speak enough French to carry a conversation. I have cared for and transported children in both rural (such as Brown County) and urban (such as New York City) settings. I have worked with children ages 7 months through 12 years and am comfortable caring for up to three children at a time. I am not a fan of TV.
