*Willing to relocate My name is Marissa, and I am a hardworking, college-educated woman who greatly enjoys working with children of all ages and backgrounds. Whenever I do not know something, I jump at the opportunity to learn more. I am a deeply compassionate and loving person who takes the time to truly get to know each child's personality, strengths and differences. I find it is important to meet the child where they are at, and help them grow from there. I have never met a family or a child that I did not instantly bond with. Many of my friends would say I have a motherly-soul. I genuinely care about people and their feelings. Everyone has their own story to tell, and I absolutely love discovering that story. I am a fun loving, outgoing, positive 21-year-old woman who loves working with children. I have taken care of my niece Read more and nephews who are from the age of seven all the way to a newborn. I have watched two boys under the age of 12 and two little girls. I volunteer and babysit for children ten and under at my church. We make crafts, watch movies, play outside, or even make up indoor games. I absolutely love kids, and spending time with them both indoors and out. Two summers ago, I was a nanny for two girls, ages 8 and 12. The summer of 2018, I nannied for a family with seven kids. My role there was to cook, clean, pick up, drop off, rock babies to sleep, read stories to the younger girls, take kids swimming, and so much more. When teaching at Michaels Arts and Crafts, I am able to work with parents and children alike. It is a rarity when I am not surrounded by kids. I am CPR-certified, can cook, clean, help with homework, and am a huge people-person. I have my own car that I can use for transportation purposes. (I also am pretty good at organizing and cleaning up messy kid rooms, as well as getting them to take a nap if they need it). Readings books with kids is also a favorite of mine! My hobbies include photography, design, writing, reading, watching television, and spending time with my friends and family.
