Because my husband is pursuing a PostDoc at University of Notre Dame, I recently relocated from Austria to Notre Dame. All of my professions ever earned are related to education, childcare and pedagogy. I hold degrees for kindergarden-teaching (3-6 year olds), early childhood pedagogy (0-3 year olds) and for teaching in high schools and junior high schools (10-19 year olds). During my time in the "High School for Kindergarten-Pedagogy" in Steyr, Austria, I did internships in five different kindergartens and two different early childhood centers. While my studies at University I was a group leader (20 hours/week) in the "International Private Kindergarten of Vienna" where I worked with 3-6 year olds. After earning my Master's Degree in German literature and Psychology/Philosophy (including a teaching license for those two subjects) I was working as a full time teacher in two different high schools. I love to work with children and to Read more maintain an environment in which they can explore, grow, learn and study. I am a caring, warm hearted and patient person with strong social, emotional and communication skills.
