My availability: I am currently in school and working so my availability is limited. I am available typically on evenings after 6 pm. Please contact me if you are interested in an occasional sitter in the evenings (date nights!). Here is a little background on my experience with kids: I started babysitting for neighbors at the age of 12, increasing my responsibilities as I got older. I have experience with kids of all ages. I have lived in the same neighborhood in Zionsville my entire life, developing relationships with families that live nearby, often spending summers babysitting for these families. While in college in Bloomington, IN, I worked in a toddler development lab for four years as a research assistant, studying how sleep affected young children and their development. I also spent a semester mentoring a group of local middle schoolers on issues such as self-esteem, academic achievement and personal Read more development. In June 2013, I worked as a counselor at a camp devoted to the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) initiative, which allowed children from 5th to 8th grade to immerse themselves in these topics and spend time on a college campus. Most recently I worked as a private, live-in nanny for a family in Berlin, Germany. I cared for two kids, helping with after school snacks, homework, and helping them improve their English. I am caring, reliable, and trustworthy. I love to cook and can help with meal time and healthy snacks for the kids, along with light housework if that's our agreement. I love arts and crafts, reading, and playing dress up! I am comfortable with bedtime routines and bath time. I'm also comfortable with pets and can take care of them too while I'm watching your kids.
