I am 40 years old and am raising 4 children of my own. My oldest has just completed his freshman year of college, my twins will be seniors, and my youngest will be a junior. I have spent the last 18 years being a very busy mom. The first 10 years of my marriage I made the decision to be a stay-at-home mom. I spent my days caring and providing pre-school activities for all of my children. I enjoyed every minute I had with my children. When they all started school I was able to substitute teacher in their school district. As they got older I took a full time position at their Elementary School as the Principal's secretary. I have just recently decided to go back to school and complete my degree. I have spent many years working with children at our community Vacation Bible School, 4-H programs, and Read more school volunteer programs. I have been substitute teaching for the past semester in all grade levels ranging from pre-k-middle school students. I have also worked with special needs students. I have completed 18 college credit hours in Early and Elementary Education. I am recently in my junior year of college online through Fort Hays, Kansas . I am hoping to complete my degree within the next 2 years in Early Childhood.
