I am currently an early childhood special education teacher for the Gardner School District. I have been teaching for 2 years now. Before that I did my student teaching in the Gardner School District. I am CPR and First Aide certified and I have lots of experience with children with special needs and typically developing children. I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old. When I was going to college for my undergraduate degree I was a nanny for a family of 4 children ranging from 6 months to 8 years old. When I was completing my masters degree I worked with a young man with low functioning autism. Currently, while I am teaching, I babysit on the weekends to make a little extra cash. I love working with children and am looking forward to finding a summer job that involves working with kids.
