I've watched children of all ages growing up. Whether that was family friend's children or babysitting outside of the family. My first real babysitting job was when I was 14 until I graduated high school. He was about 3 months old and is now almost 4. The family of the little boy has actually grown to be my family! I'd like to continue to babysit because it's something I love doing and I've always been great with children. It all feels so natural to me. All my life people have told me I'm meant to be a mother, kindergarten teacher, counselor for young children/teens, etc. And one day I hope to be all of those things. Not only do I babysit but I make meals, put them to bed, give baths, do story time, give medications if needed, take them swimming or outside, do crafts with them, run errands, etc. Read more I'm a very adventurous person. I graduated high school early and took a year off before college. I'm still in the process of deciding which college to go to but am leaning towards online to start off with. Therefore, I can fit in a part-time job. Not only do I enjoy babysitting because I love children, but because I may not be able to have any of my own. It's not just about the money to me, it's about helping others out and making sure the child is happy and taken care of. At one point I was certified in CPR and First Aid but it expires after a few years and I just havent gotten around to re-newing them.
