Hello, My name is Casandra and I am from Kansas. I am relocating to Oregon early summer of 2017. First off, I want to explain to you how much I believe in bringing up a child with the intent of teaching and preparing them for the world, whether that be simple ABC's and 123's, or how to sweep a floor, or how to ALWAYS pay it forward with kindness. I want children to know how to empathize with people, use their manners, problem solve, compromise when they should (such as sharing their toys) or stand up for themselves and say no when they shouldn't (such as speaking up to a bully). Instilling values of hard work, independence, kindness, love for yourself and for others insures your little ones are going to power through their lives with a certain motivation and strength to whatever the world throws at them. This is Read more everything I would do for my children to come, and I wouldn't hesitate a beat giving your child the same love and encouragement. My experience started at eight years old with babysitting. From there I volunteered at countless children's events such as summer camps, Sunday school classes, community children's events, etc. My first formally paid job was working at a summer camp for 16 hours a day/6 days a week making meals, watching, teaching, and entertaining children, and also maintaining and cleaning camp grounds. The ages ranged from 2 years old to 18 years old, as well as a week with adults with developmental disabilities. I have since worked at preschools and daycares working with ages infant-school age as a lead teacher. However, my favorite work experience is from the families I have nannied for. You can give an incredible extra amount of love, encouragement, and attention when you have the one-on-one time opposed to the time children spend in a childcare center with 10 to 20 other kids. I am first aid and CPR certified and I consistently recertify every 2 years. Because of state regulations working in a childcare center, I also have consistently taken early childhood development classes to make my 10 credit/year minimum. I have a lot of experience with multiples as well as disabilities. I have excellent references as well as a clean background check. I am extremely thoughtful to a parents preferences when it comes to schedule, discipline, education, etc. And I will always work with what you want for your children while you are away. Thanks so much! Casandra
