Hello! My name is Sarah Are and I am a first year Seminary Student, living in the heart of Decatur, GA. With two working parents, I grew up with an excellent babysitter, who always played with my brother and I, setting up elaborate games and imaginative scenarios. Ten years ago when I began babysitting children in my own neighborhood, I drew from those memories, as well as memories of time spent with my parents, to create a fun, safe, playful experience for the kids I was caring for. Since those early babysitting days, I have also worked as a camp counselor,-working with children from Kindergarden through middle school, including some youth with disabilities. I also worked as a Youth Director and Christian Educator for a Presbyterian Church while receiving my a Bachelors degree. This position provided me additional experience in working with youth and children, specifically planning and playing age Read more appropriate cirriculum and games for those ages. I love working with kids, and always have. I grew up with the best mother, and hope that one day I can be that for my own children.
