I mostly have just babysat my friends kids here and there, but was a caregiver for MCDS for several years working with mentality handicap clients. Which included cooking , cleaning , doing laundry, assisting with bathes, getting them dressed , making sure they took their meds, taking them to their doctors appts, running errands, etc. I was certified in cpr and first aid while working there. Although its been a few years. I am still very much aware of how to handle an emergency situation in the safest and quickest way possible. And am very confident in my abilitys to care for human being. MCDS was one of the most enjoyable jobs ive ever had, i loved caring for and interacting with the clients, and learned alot while there. I do have an 8 year old son so caring for children is nothing new to me, i am a single Read more mom. So any opportunity to make a little extra cash is definitely appreciated. I am very kind hard working person, can be a little shy at first but tend to loosen after a bit, i am a fast learner and can pick up on things farely quickly, i am good with animals and very respectful when it come to other peoples things.
