All throughout high school I served as an after school babysitter. I was responsible for transporting children home from school and working on daily tasks, such as homework, once we got home. During the summers, I babysat for the same family. We would often go to the pool and in the mornings, the children had summer rec programs. Since high school, I have also worked as an early childhood autism paraprofessional and also as a high school special education paraprofessional. I absolutely love working with kids of all ages. It excites me know that in a way, I helped mold them into who they are going to become in 10 -15 years. I want to pour into children just like my former babysitters, nanny, and teachers did for me.
