I've been a child caregiver since I was in middle school. I started babysitting family friends' children to let them have some "me" time. However, as I moved forward in my career path, I continued to work with children because I have a desire to make a difference in the world. I have a background in counseling as well as strength based curriculum. I've worked with children living in institutions as well as children living in the home. I have a bachelors degree in sociology with a concentration in social work as well as a bachelors degree in criminal justice with a concentration in corrections.
