I currently babysit for a woman that I was hired by from care.com, I only work for her once a week, but I love the kids I get to watch when I do go there! I have been taught since I was quite young, how to care for children younger than I, how to change diapers, feed and bathe babies, prepare meals, etc. I did not have younger siblings (better yet I have 4 older sisters) but since I was young I have had 3 nephews I was needed to care for and so I got alot of experience just doing that. Since I've gotten older, I have babysat for several family members as well as friends, and because of it I have alot of useful knowledge in that area. I recently worked at Yayas Island In Paducah, KY. I was always working with children there and I loved it! Read more It was my absolute favorite job, unfortunately the pay did not suffice. I was a lifeguard at Venture River Water Park in Eddyville, KY, where I learned to practice CPR and first aid, and earned my certificates for those as well. I am a very trustworthy and reliable person, I've been told by all my friends! I am a fast learner and I function well in stressful situations. Babysitting comes naturally to me, its an occupation I can truthfully say i enjoy :)
