I believe that children are my expertise, kids what can I say? They love me! I am very open to new ideas (games, creativity, puzzles, outside, etc.) I want children to feel comfortable around me and the best way I can do that is to be myself. I am very silly and a kid at heart. I love watching cartoon shows over and over again! I am better off with a schedule so that the kids can still follow their routine as if you were at home with them. I have a nephew that has Downs Syndrome so I know how to be very patient when a child becomes frusterated with something (which I believe is great background experience.) I am very flexible with my calendar, and you don't have to hesitate to ask me to pick up extra hours!
