I am 23 years old and I have a passion for working with children. I am going to take summer class at UofL for my masters program with an emphasis in elementary education. Though I have a passion for elementary aged children, I have worked with all ages. I was heavily involved with summer camp growing up and was a camp counselor for many years so I have many ideas to keep your little one(s) entertained in a safe and healthy way. In addition to that, I was also a youth leader at a church for 3 years directing the middle and high school youth group there. After I graduated college, I became a teacher assistant at the Kentucky School for the Deaf so I know and can use some sign language if needed. And most recently my job was a social worker for the state of Kentucky where I Read more was around children very regularly and am well trained and knowledgeable in ensuring the safety and well-being of children. Lastly, as previously stated, I am beginning a masters in teaching program at UofL because I want to make a career out of being around children. My summer classes are in the middle of the afternoon so mornings and late afternoons are preferred. Thank you!
