I LOVE children! That is why I chose to be a nanny. I previously worked for 14 years with non-profits in Communications, Marketing, and Web Development. My goal as a nanny is to come alongside parents and help raise/influence their children with the same vision they have for their family. I have been working with children since I was old enough to babysit at age 13 (ages 2 weeks to 17 years, up to 10 kids at a time). I've done babysitting, been a camp counselor, ran a weekly church program for 3rd-6th graders, and since 2010 have been doing childcare full-time. I am passionate about the growth of each child I am with and look for their strengths and interests to help build them up as well as figuring out how to best reach them in every situation. I'm loving, creative, intelligent, and responsible. Although I have no formal Read more Early Childhood Education, I do like to read up on my own to learn more about child development, various teaching styles, and fun activities. Raised with a strong work ethic, I am not averse to daily chores and housekeeping needs. It brings me pleasure to help meet the needs of others. Personally, I enjoy cooking and LOVE baking. I love to do crafts, read, and explore the tri-state area.
