I recently graduated from East Carolina with a degree in Child Life. This past fall I completed a Child Life internship at Kosair Children's Hospital. With this, I was able to provide emotional and psychosocial support for children ages birth-18 during procedures, as well as plan and provide age appropriate activities to help normalize the hospital environment. I also have had experience working with children in a non-clinical setting. This past summer, I devoted my time to SAS summer camp in Cary, NC. I provided as a role model and demonstrated leadership by maintaining group cohesion for children aged 6-12. Throughout college I also volunteered my time at the Boys and Girls club and at my church's children's ministry every Sunday.
