Hello! I am currently a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) at an ABA Therapy Center. I provide behavioral therapy to children with developmental disabilities, such as Autism and Down Syndrome. I am also currently a senior at University of Louisville; studying Psychology. My plan is to get my Masters in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) with a concentration in Autism studies, and then become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). All of that aside, my job is the best job in the world. Spending time with these kiddos is my favorite thing. Unfortunately, I do not wish to stay with the company that I am currently with, and there are not many places that will hire an RBT who does not have her degree yet. It has strangely always been a childhood dream of mine to become a nanny, so I have decided that the time has come for me to pursue Read more that for a little while. I love working with and being around children, probably because I get to be a child myself! They are tiny people with big and wonderful ideas and imaginations, and I am endlessly fascinated by them.
