I enjoy working with children and encouraging their growth and exploration of the world. As a teenager I was a Girl Scout camp counselor and spent the summer of my 16th year as a summer child care worker at the YMCA. Children are a joy because they find joy in simple experiences. During college I was a Bonner leader and was able to participate in a number of volunteer roles that benefit children and families. My favorite roles involved supporting educational opportunities for kids. I created educational programs at a local environmental center and helped organize a college preparation program for first generation college students. As a college graduate, I am looking for a meaningful job to do for the next several years while I save money for graduate school. I am responsible, reliable, and throughout my life have been recognized for my leadership ability. As a nanny for your Read more child, I will encourage safe, healthy enjoyment of daily activities.
