I retired from the Federal Probation and Parole Office in July 2011, after serving for almost 22 years. I worked as an Administrative Assistant/Interpreter for the federal court system while taking care of my home and family. My three sons are now adults and living on their own, although we still enjoy their regular visits. I mostly enjoy baby sitting for newborns and small children up to 7 or 8 years, but in general, I enjoy having children around. Having just retired from full time employment, I have had the opportunity to perform volunteer work with Ochsner Medical Center in Covington, and I have signed up with VOA/Northshore Chapter. I am completely fluent in Spanish. I was born in Honduras, C.A. from American parents and was reared in a bilingual environment my entire life.
