Being the youngest in my family, I've never had many opportunities to look after children growing up (besides your standard "hey honey, can you watch the baby while we eat in the room right next to you?" type of situation). After moving to Baton Rouge for college (Go Tigers!), I was enveloped with multiple offers of babysitting and could not wait to get started, although school proved to be more than I could handle. So after my first year here, I began working at a Church daycare center, where I looked after up to 15 other children (along with another worker)! Sadly, I had to quit this job, because school proved once again to be more time consuming (as it should be), so if there are any opportunities for me to, once again, be surrounded by children and helping out others, I would LOVE to jump right in!
