I am originally from the Covington/ Mandeville area... Abita Springs to be exact. I have two younger siblings, a brother who is 15 and a 9 year old sister. I skipped my sophomore year of high school, thus graduating a year early from Fontainebleau High School. In high school I played softball my freshman and junior year, while also participating in the special needs caretaker club called Bulldog Buddies. However, I then choose my senior year to work which resulted in a job at Smoothie King. Once I moved to Baton Rouge, I continued working for Smoothie King in a different franchise location. However, with the college bills ringing up i turned to a serving position at Walk On's where i still currently fill in part time. I have chosen to take a break from school, as I am to the point of needing to know what I would like Read more to major in, something for which I still remain undecided. I have in the past also lifeguarded and babysat so have taken all required CPR and First Aid classes. Since it has been awhile, should I be able to have the opportunity to care for your child, I plan to go back and retake both as a refresher, hopefully within the next couple of weeks. I turned to caregiving because it's something I love to do, I love children and I love getting to be an influence in their lives. As a child, I always looked up to my babysitters thinking they were the best people in the world. I'm willing to do nothing but treat your child/children with the best quality of care, to reassure you while you're away and to keep those that get sad when the parents leave happy!
