I relocated to Baton Rouge, LA in March, 2016. Formerly lived in Bellflower, California. I attended Compton City College majoring in Early Childhood Education. I have experience working with first graders as a bilingual teacher's assistant for the Compton School District. I raised a 51 year old son alone, who currently lives in Torrance, California. I am a grandmother type with the agility and energy of someone younger, have patience, and many years of knowledge caring for the young. I have cared for children from newborn to age 12, and teens 13 to 16 in the Los Angeles, California area, either in my home and sometimes theirs. I provided care anywhere from a few hours, a day, a few days, overnight care for weeks, and/or weekends. I have previous experience as a caregiver, and willing to care for a child when they are sick. I feel children should be given nutritional meals, enjoyable activities, that will assist in skills and development at an early age. Also in caregiver speaking clearly and correctly to provide the child with the skills to speak well. I am willing to provide pickup service for school age children. I have my own transportation, current registration, and car insurance with a clean driving record. Will provide references and/or additional information upon request.
