I am a certified nursing assistant, CPR certified and currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in English at Southeastern Louisiana University. I watch four children (my niece, nephew, and two younger cousins -- aged 3 - 12) during the summers which I feel has prepared me the most in caring for young children. I like to plan the kid's day in advance so that they spend time reading and doing something educational, as well enjoy some time outside and have fun play time inside. I enjoy playing games with the kids and often make up fun games like pretending we're on 'Who Want to be a Millionaire? or that we're in some fun Disney movie 'when they get bored. I like to create a fun atmosphere where children feel safe and comfortable, but also know that there is a time for everything.
