Hi! My name is Carolyn, 25 years old. I am a veteran of the United States Navy (I did Electrical Engineering for five years) and now a Certified Personal Trainer. I am a rock climber and long distance backpacker, a nature enthusiast and environmentalist. I moved to Seattle about two months ago and am loving it so far! I have always loved children and I have a lot of experience with infants all the way through teenagers. I started babysitting when I was around 13 just for a few hours here and there when neighbors or family members would need it. By the time I was 15 I had three children that I would babysit on a regular basis, a one year old, a three year old, and a eight year old. The eight year old actually had multiple surgeries on her legs and was dyslexic so she fell behind Read more in school some while struggling with these issues, so her mother knowing I was in AP and college classes asked if I could also tutor her. I gladly agreed and started tutoring her in all of her classes, helping her with homework, and even created some games that could help her catch on to new material, and I am very proud to say that her grades in all subjects improved a great deal. Most recently, I have been babysitting twin boys that are two and a half years old and they are the first twins I have worked with, but I really enjoy playing with them and seeing how they interact with one another. I have been taking all necessary precautions in relation to the COVID pandemic to maintain my health and the safety of those around me. I am an animal lover and will gladly look after your furry or scaly friends as well!
