For 6 years I was a full-time teacher, having taught 4th grade, 2nd grade, and special education. I have always loved children and began babysitting at age 12. I spent 7 summers nannying for a family with 3 children. In addition, I worked as a camp counselor for two summers and as the children's ministry leader at two churches. After my daughter was born in June 2016, I have stayed at home and nanny for other children at my house. We enjoy going to the park, story time at the library, reading books, singing songs, etc. I currently nanny Monday-Thursday, so I am available to babysit for others on Fridays, with my daughter coming with me, and on week nights and the weekends without her.

Sarah babysat for our two little boys (ages 2 and 3.5) while we were visiting New Orleans for a wedding, for three consecutive nights. It was a bit nerve-wracking to imagine leaving them with a stranger, especially when we are the only ones who ever put them to bed. Enter Sarah to the rescue! She was amazing. The boys were instantly comfortable with her, and she was totally at ease in a new situation. She skillfully navigated sibling rivalries and little-boy rambunctiousness and ensured they got to bed on time, in an unfamiliar place, no less. Sarah was also really easy to communicate with to organize our plans, and was punctual in her arrivals. I can't recommend her highly enough - you'll be glad you hired her!

Sarah watched our 2-year-old this summer and we could not have asked for a better caretaker. She has a gentle, loving manner combined with maturity and a clear understanding of the need for structure and routine in a child's life. We found her reliable and responsive to our daughter's needs. She was also communicative with us about her needs. Our daughter loved her and we loved her. The only downside was that she had to get back to her FT teaching job at the end of the the summer. We wished we could have her all the time. I felt so comfortable with Sarah that I recommended her to a friend with a 2yo (my daughter's playmate) and a newborn who needed help on the days we didn't. On days Sarah had my daughter, she and my friend would meet for play dates at the park. The second-hand feedback I got from my friend about Sarah's manner with my daughter only made me trust her more. I would recommend Sarah to anyone. She made a difference in our home. - Rebecca Catalanello

Sarah nannied for our two children (3 months and 2 years old) this summer two days a week while she was on summer break from her elementary school teaching job. We all absolutely loved her! Sarah was engaging and connected with the children as well as caring and responsible. She understands the amount of energy it takes to care for two small children and has the maturity to handle them. I wish we could have enticed her away from her teaching job permanently!
