Hi! My name is Melissa. I'm from California and moved to New Orleans last summer. I'm all settled in now and ready to take on some extra babysitting! I am available evenings after 6, or anytime during the weekends. (Note that from June until August 1, 2014, I'm off for the summer and am available during the day on weekdays.) I'm 32, and have been working with kids for over 15 years. I have been an elementary teacher for five years now, teaching two years and third grade, two years of fifth, and now back in third. It is an adventure everyday! From 2011-2013, in between jobs and while living in California, I was a full time nanny for a little boy from the time he was ten months to three years old. I just love kids in general, and they tend to be comfortable with me quickly. Melissa watched our 2 year-old and 5 year-old on a short notice job recently. No problems with arranging the job and she arrived on time and readily began relating to the kids and they took to her instantly. She had them fed and in pajamas when we got home and they had a great time together. Definitely will look to hire Melissa again in the future!
