I am currently a middle school language arts teacher, so I spend most days with teenagers. Prior to becoming a teacher, I volunteered at after-school programs, was a Big Sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters and babysat for multiple families throughout high school and college, typically two to three children at a time. I have experience watching children from age 2 to 14. I enjoy working with kids and don't mind helping with homework! As a language arts teacher I like sharing my love for reading with kids! I also enjoy cooking and have no problem preparing meals, if needed. I'll be sure to clean up afterward, as well. There's nothing worse than coming home to a dirty kitchen!
