I have been an elementary school teacher for six years and have taught first, second, third, and fifth grade in New Orleans and Newark, NJ. I also run an after school running group for third and fourth graders called Girls on the Run at my elementary school in New Orleans East. I am CPR and first aid certified. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was an active babysitter throughout high school and college and an overnight camp counselor for 5 years. I love playing indoor and outdoor games, singing songs, completing projects and experiments, and reading with children! Educating and motivating children is a passion of mine, one that I have and will pursue throughout my life.
