I'm 24 years old and just finished working as an Americorps teacher at Phillis Wheatley Community School for second graders. I also spend some part of my day with kindergartners and teach afterschool programs to children grades K-4. In the past, I have also worked as an assistant daycare/preschool teacher with children ages 2-4. Being engaged and educational in a fun way is a priority for me! I've been babysitting since I was in middle school and was a part-time nanny for a 12-year-old girl for the school year of 2017. My main responsibilities in that role were picking her up from school, sometimes taking her to extracurriculars, preparing dinner, helping with homework, and keeping her otherwise entertained. I have a cleared background check, a non-smoker, have a reliable car and clean driving record. I am also First Aid and CPR certified for children and adults.
