I am a 26-year-old female Louisiana Tech University graduate with a Bachelor's of Science in Family and Child Studies, with a concentration in Family Science. I am seeking to merge my enthusiasm, compassionate nature, and love for children into a full-time nanny position. My experiences with caring for children include working as a nanny for children ages 0-10, working as a substitute preschool teacher, working as a teacher's aide, and working as a daycare teacher. While working as a nanny, I gained experience preparing bottles and snacks for infants and children respectively, bathing, dressing and grooming infants and children, organizing and taking part in leisure activities such as games, crafts, outings and exercise, maintaining a clean and healthy environment inside the home, and keeping records of everyday activities and health information about each child. While working as a teacher's aide, I gained experience supervising students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, and on field trips, creating age appropriate "center lessons" for children to engage individually, and supporting teachers to maintain a safe and engaging classroom for children. While working as a daycare teacher, I gained experience caring for the basic needs of infants and toddlers like changing diapers and bottle feeding. I also created visually engaging classrooms to mentally stimulate the infants and toddlers.
