I am seeking a position, bringing proven instructional skills within diverse cultures. I am currently a Kindergarten teacher, working with the AmeriCorps Program, City Year. City Year is a non-profit that provides whole group and small group instruction to at-risk students in literacy and math. It is a rigorous volunteer based program and my year of service will be ending at the beginning of May. I have chosen to stay on with the school until the first week of June, due to my dedication to my students. My current experience as a teacher has helped amplify my time efficiency, instructional skills and organization. I began babysitting and nannying by the age of eleven for a few family friends and then my responsibilities grew from there. I have experience with all ages and have a deep appreciation for children and their creativity.
