My name is Brittany, I Just moved to New Orleans to start my first year at the University of New Orleans. I've played a role in looking after children most of my life. My mom used to run an in home daycare and I would often help her with the children ( age ranged from infancy to 9 years old). I quickly became familiar with the responsibility of taking care of children;Feedings, diaper changes, naps, play time. Extracurriculars, etc. Last year I interned in a kindergarten class as a teaching assistant which further extended my experience teaching young children and helping them grow. This summer I received a babysitting job to watch 2 children ages 5,and 9 on average 3 days a week for approximately 8 hours. The children and I would do crafts, engage in reading time, swim, and I would often take the kids on outings such as Read more mini golf, skating and laser tag to prevent them from being stuck home most of the summer. I work very well with children and I love the opportunity to watch them grow and help out a family in need of a sitter.
