Hello Families! I am a former elementary school teacher living in Acton, who LOVES being with kids of all ages. My most recent job was as the Associate Director of an educational non-profit company, but I received a surprise lay-off when our department down-sized. I've decided to take the opportunity to go back to school and pursue new passions. And I can't think of a better way to supplement my income than by spending the day with kids! I have experience working with all ages and stages-- infancy to teens, and with a variety of special needs. Every opportunity for a young person to learn is there in front of them-- exploring nature, running outside, reading books and creating adventure stories or making art. Your child will NOT sit in front of the tv when I am around, unless you specifically ask for it!
