My name is Alexa Kundla and I am currently a graduate student at Boston University studying to earn my MS degree in Occupational Therapy and become a pediatric occupational therapist. This summer I will be working full time at Tufts Medical Center as an occupational therapy intern and am looking to work occasionally on the weekends. I have taken courses in developmental psychology, developmental disorders, anatomy and physiology, motor development and other courses during my occupational therapy education that I believe make me a very qualified and well educated caregiver for children. I have a true passion for working with children, which comes from my years of experience babysitting/ nannying professionally, and caring for my younger siblings and family members. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old and have formal experience nannying typically developing children, as well as working with children with serious medical conditions and special Read more needs. As a previous pediatric NICU occupational therapy intern at Massachusetts General Hospital, and a previous pediatric intern at the Children's Specialized Hospital, I have knowledge and experience with children of all ages. I am a very hands-on babysitter and nanny and love to engage my kids in games, crafts, music, and outdoor play. I am CPR and AED certified for children and infants, as well as have a recent negative TB test.
