Hello! Nannying has always been the one constant thing in my life that I have always loved and excelled at. I started my own baby-sitting business as a pre teen and created a wonderful community of families that I worked with. The year I graduated from college I started working for the Mothers Helpers babysitting agency. Here I have had the amazing opportunity to work with many different families with different needs, different aged children and been able to really grow and build my skills as a child care provider. I mostly work with younger children (infant- school age) and have helped with everything from allergies, medical needs and hearing loss to learning to walk, school drop-offs, and household chores. I am new to living in Boston and exploring it has become my favorite past time. I graduated with a degree in sociology after an internship at a underprivileged after school program. I love exploring the outdoors with my dog, learning, trying new things, and dabble in photography. About Nannying: I am big about being active and outdoors as much as possible :) I love taking kids to museums, parks, playgrounds, beaches, libraries and other fun engaging activities. Boston especially has so much to offer children through active, hands on experiences that are educational as well as fun and I like to take advantage of that. I like to do projects and activities that expand on each child's individual interests. Working with infants is a real passion of mine and helping them reach each milestone and creating an environment for their minds to grow is extremely rewarding. One of the best things about nannying is watching children learn about themselves and the world around them and being an active part of that is something I value. I am looking for a family that is flexible and also understand my needs as a dog owner :) Preferably who live in Boston and need help this summer and then hopefully into the fall.
