Hi I'm Kate. I am 22 years old and I recently graduated from Umass Amherst this spring with a degree in Biology. I am currently in the process of applying to medical schools and am getting my EMT. In my free time I love to read, spend time with my sorority sisters ( I am a Chi Omega) and work part time in a research lab. I hope to one day become a pediatrician. I have many years of experience babysitting children both girls and boys ages 5-12. I started babysitting in high school and babysat throughout college. While in college I participated in Science Quest, a program that matches middle school aged students interested in STEM subjects to a Umass undergraduate. Having the opportunity to be a STEM mentor was an amazing experience and reaffirmed my desire to work with children. I am also CPR/AED certified. While babysitting I Read more love spending time outside with children, baking and making arts and crafts! I am very responsible, approachable, polite, warm and fun. I have a very flexible availability and I am comfortable cooking meals for children, helping with transportation and cleaning. I am very good at helping children with their homework and have experience working as a tutor.
