I babysat and worked with children to put myself through school. After I had my boys I took a break from child care to concentrate on being a great mom. They still need me still but they are older and a little more independent. I would love Read more to start watching children again. Obviously being a mom I have experience with children. As well as the years I spent early on working with children. I do work part time in a school during the day in the kitchen. I would love the opportunity to take care of and nurture your children when you are not around. More recently I babysat my sons friend every Tuesday. I live in Arlington. I would be available after school hours, for date nights or summer care. I enjoy the outdoors, trips to the library and park. Maybe making some cookies or a fresh fruit salad. I am fun yet firm. I love doing arts and crafts. Trips to the park and outdoor play are a must in my book. I love hiking, walking and exploring what nature has to offer. During the holiday season I love participating in holiday craft fairs. Reading is a must and laughing is a given. I also might add my oldest son is Autistic. Amy has been working with us since September 2016 providing after school care a couple days a week for my son. She has been perfect for our family. Amy is incredibly reliable, she has never missed a day. Amy has great instincts and judgement about kids. Its great knowing that we have someone who we can completely trust to be there when we can not. My son loves talking to Amy about his day and what is going on at school. She really makes him feel comfortable sharing what is going on, and provides another outlet for him. I highly recommend Amy!

I have known Amy from school for a few years as a very reliable, loving, responsible and crafty parent from my daughter's school and kids love her. I was delighted when she applied for this job for helping with after school care for our daughter. Amy is punctual, responsible, gets back to me with texts if I have any queries very promptly and has become my go to person for help with after school care with my daughter. I would highly recommend her.
