I have been babysitting for over 12 years and have experience every age group. I taught sailing to five year olds while I was in high school, and then co-headed the sailing program at Menhaunt Yacht Club to teach racing skills to middle and high schoolers. I attended Elon University, where I pursued a degree in exercise sports science as well as competed on the cross country and track teams. Throughout my time at Elon, I enjoyed babysitting and tutoring for a family in North Carolina. After graduating, I worked as a tech at a physical therapy office in Rhode Island and continued to nanny for another local family. This past year I began a Doctoral Physical Therapy program at Shenandoah university in Winchester, Va. I am looking for a family to nanny for over the summer. I love being outside, reading, and cooking. I am very active and would Read more be happy to take your kids to the park or play with them outside. Emily has been helping me out for the last month as a sitter, and giving my kids swim lessons at my home. I could not have been more thrilled with her. I have three young boys with lots of energy, but Emily has handled them amazingly with a cheerful attitude and lots of patience. She is alot of fun for the boys to have around, willing to engage in their play and help them with ideas for things to do. She's timely, respectful of our house and everyone in it, and is just really great to have around. I recommend wholeheartedly!
